Banana Bread

Delicious and easy use for overly ripe bananas.

Cook time: 1 hr 5 minutes

Yield: 1 loaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper in bottom of pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl (or with a stand mixer), cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
  4. Stir wet mixture into dry mixture and add chocolate chips. Stir just to moisten. Pour batter into loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 60-65 minutes, until toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack.
