Beef and Broccoli

  1. In a large bowl, whisk 2 tbsp cornstarch with 3 tbsp water. Add the beef to the bowl and toss to combine.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk remaining 1 tbsp cornstarch with soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in large pan. Once hot, add beef and cook until almost cooked through stirring consistently. Transfer beef to a plate and set aside.
  4. Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to pan. Once hot, add broccoli and sliced onion, stirring occasionally until broccoli is tender (about 4 minutes).
  5. Return beef to pan and add sauce. Bring to a boil and stir for 1 minute or until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve with rice or noodles.
