Mac and Cheese

Nice, simple, rich mac and cheese.

Cook time: 50 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Cook macaroni to package directions. Drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux. Add milk to roux slowly, stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses, and cook over low heat until cheese is melted and sauce is a little thick.
  4. Put macaroni in a large casserole dish. Pour cheese sauce over macaroni and stir well.
  5. Melt 2 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and brown.
  6. Spread over macaroni and cheese to cover. Sprink paprika over top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
